Translation text layout and design

The necessity in translation text layout and/or design occurs when the original materials for translation are in electronic format other than Microsoft Word, and the customer needs to receive translation text which would exactly follow the original format. As a rule, original formatting and transfer of translation text of graphic objects (charts, schemes, drawings, etc) is included in the basic technical translation price. More sophisticated translation layout or design in professional software Adobe Pagemaker, AutoCAD, CorelDraw and others is available for an additional fee.

Text layout and one-to-one formatting and as well as its preparation for printing is performed by a professional designer in cooperation with translators who did the translation. As a result, you will have a translation text layout ready for printing being an exact replica of the original text. The translation layout includes exact replica of all details of font (symbols, size, color, etc) and all features of the original graphic objects (location, proportion and size, drawing texts, etc.).

Most often translation text layout services are needed for:
- translation of AutoCAD drawings;
- preparation of translation text for printing in publishing house (pre-print preparation);
- ensuring a maximum equivalence between the translation text and the original;
- placing the original text and the translation text within one page, etc.

The work on translation layout starts after the final translation text is accepted by the customer. The price for layout services of one translation A4 page format is 100 rubles.

Unlike the layout, the translation design is a creative process where there is no original layout for copying (e.g., the task is set to design advertising booklet for foreign partners which would contain a translation text and corporate images). The rates for translation design depend on the scope of work and are set individually in every case.

Besides, we may provide printing services, i.e. you may receive a specified number of printed copies of translated text. The printing cost depends on number of copies and in every case should be detailed individually.
